Despite being in the middle of "cattle country", almost every restaurant and café in Edmonton has a few vegetarian dishes on the menu. Vegan menu items are harder to come by, but there are many places with amazing vegan food!
To celebrate World Vegetarian Day on October 1st 2008, VOA will publish the 2nd Edition of Edmonton's Vegan & Vegetarian Diner's Guide, which highlights some of the veggie-friendly restaurants and cafés! Inside the pocket-sized Guide, you'll find:
- over 30 restaurant reviews with recommended dishes, non-vegan ingredients used by the chef, how to veganize a dish, etc.
- new reviwers and new restaurant listings
- updates to all the restaurants
- full colour pictures of the restaurants and mini-maps of Edmonton
- vegan dining tips to use in any city or town
- veggie event info & articles
- delicious recipes
- only $10 for a wealth of knowledge!
