As some of you may know after reading the intro in the Guide, VOA got the idea for a veggie guide from Halifax.  I sent the gal that made the Halifax Veggie Guide a copy of the Edmonton Veg Diner's Guide as a token of thanks for her inspiration.  Below is her reply:

Thank you SO MUCH for the veg*ns dining guide to Edmonton that I received in the mail recently! I am thrilled and honoured and inspired to see a book based off the one that I put so much love and care into. Your guide is so beautiful; it looks great in colour! I really like the layout of each page, the way you have a box around the cafe name and address etc. The fonts you use are cool too. The whole thing looks totally pro. And I love the drawing on the front! Whose is it?

I was also gleeful to receive the creative reused card that accompanied the book! Thank you so much. I hope at some point I can meet all of you! It really sounds like Edmonton has a multitude of vegan options....certainly far more than Halifax. Alberta is the one province i've never visited, and i hope that will soon change.
